Yalın Tan

Yalın Tan was born in 1969 in Izmir, continuing his education in Istanbul. After graduating from Bilkent University Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, he worked on several projects, both alone and with partners. After years of work in the field, as of 2014, he keeps working under the name of Yalın Tan + Partners, his own company in which he partners with a young and dynamic team. Yalın Tan + Partners mostly provides interior architecture design and construction service for retail, office and residential projects, to varying brands, institutions or persons both local and international. Alongside, Tan founded the multidisciplinary brand solution partnership firm TOO MANY DISCIPLINES, which he also takes role as creative director, in 2010. The aim of TOO MANY DISCIPLINES is to provide brand solutions in market research, insight, branding, interior architecture/architecture, marketing, events, digital and social media, with the help of professionals with backgrounds of varying disciplines. While having his work and interviews published in national and international press, Tan also attends universities and institutions as a guest designer and holds many awards in different categories and disciplines of design. These awards and nominations include but are not limited to; Interior Design Best of Year Awards Honor Award, IF Communication Design Awards, MOBSAD The Best Space Awards, Istinye Park Store Design Award and nomination for German Design Awards.
